The Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society (RCC) is looking for a Director of Academic Programs to join its team.
The position will start on 1 January 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is for up to six years, which includes a six-month probation period. The RCC is an international, interdisciplinary research institute located in central Munich. It was founded in 2009 and is part of LMU Munich (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität). The RCC runs various graduate and fellowship programs and also hosts numerous research projects. Its working language is English.

The Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society and Herrmannsdorfer Landwerkstätten are pleased to invite applications for a fellowship program based at the Herrmannsdorf Landwerkstätten (an organic farm outside of Munich).
Launched in January 2022, the Landhaus Fellowship Program is a residential program. Ten fellows live and work together in the newly renovated historic house on the Herrmannsdorfer farm. Fellowships are open to excellent doctoral, postdoctoral, and senior scholars, as well as outreach scholars, working in the field of environment and society.
The deadline for applications is 31 July 2022. Applications must be made in online portal. The application portal is open from 1–31 July 2022. It closes at 23:59 (Central European Time) on 31 July 2022. Decisions will be announced by 31 October 2022.
O Centro de Investigação Transdisciplinar «Cultura, Espaço e Memória» da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto (CITCEM) convida a comunidade académica para o seu X Encontro, centrado na temática Culturas D’Água: Património, Ambiente e Sociedade, que se realizará na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, de 16 a 19 de novembro de 2022. O Encontro pretende refletir sobre as Culturas D’Água, tema que tem marcado a investigação desenvolvida no CITCEM, desde a sua fundação, colocando-o em discussão sob uma análise plural, que reflita rumos de investigação e formas de intervenção desenvolvidas por académicos e centros de investigação europeus e não europeus.
